When it comes to being seen at a music fesitval the pressure is on to stand out from the rest of the crowd.

Even though the main point of festivals is the music, fashion has become a big impact on festival culture and it can influence upcoming trends for future fashion seasons. This is why I was happy to partner up with Bluenotes and style their clothing at Osheaga.

The Hiking Style with Bluenotes

A few days ago I planned a photo shoot inspired by a late Summer hike with some of the newest arrivals and denim over at Bluenotes. Alicia and Kat are also winners from the Bluenotes Ambassador contest so it was cool to get together and go on a hike.  I'm wearing the denim joggers, new flannel plaid for an adventurous early Fall look. Alicia's outfit includes high rise destroyed denim and chocker cut tee to create an edgy and distressed look. Kat's outfit includes a v-neck cold shoulder top with crochet, and destroyed tomboy denim in light stone wash for a feminine and flowy look. Thanks for stopping by and have a nice day!

Happy 150th Canada!

Happy Canada Day everyone!~ 

Hope everyone has something fun planned for the weekend. Tonight I'll be going to watch some fireworks in the park with a group of friends to celebrate the big 150.

Party on the Catamaran!

 It's a bit of an early Canadian pride celebration today on the blog! Canada day is exactly one month away and can't believe that it's Canada's 150th Birthday. So this year we have to make the celebration one to remember! I got this awesome Canadian conceptual shirt over at Bluenotes which was designed to celebrate Canada 150. This logo was composed with a series of diamonds arranged in the shape of a Canadian maple leaf. The total number of diamonds represents the 10 provinces and 3 territories united as one country. They have this awesome design on different shirts and sweaters in the select colours of your choice. I specifically like the white tee with red to match my minimal look. I also look forward to sharing more Canada day pride with you later this month!

I can easily say that partying on the catamaran was the highlight of my trip this time in Cancun. Although an open bar while snorkelling left a larger portion of it's passengers puking in the ocean, I'm glad to say that I've got a strong stomach with a craving for many cerveza refills. I really didn't know what I was getting myself into but I just went with the flow. We got to see an underwater museum while swimming with the brave fish and an opportunity to try mini parasailing. Below are some photos of that and one of me swimming like a dog. It was such a freeing experience to just be one with the wind. We spent the rest of the ride back dancing like foods on the top of the boat while listening to some Spanish top 40. The evidence of that happening was only seen on my insta story. Pink Summer

This summer it's all about soft pinks and more neutral hues. Especially as warmer weather is around the corner there has been a lot of flamingos popping up everywhere I shop. A pocket flamingo is the cutest settle little detail to an essential summer tee. Styled with a pair of slim stretch dusty rose shorts that I'm looking forward to wearing all summer long. Also inspired by the #plantsonpink aesthetic I threw on a tropical and floral printed hat. Nothing goes better than green and pink! These Zoo York meshed black shoes are like walking on a cloud. I've been mostly wearing them at the gym because they are light and want to keep them in minty. Spontaneous Adventures

Now that it's starting to get warmer out I've been craving some outdoor adventures. It was kind of a last minute idea to go to Rockwood and and sometimes the best times are unplanned. Spring Neutrals

This month I've really been into neutral hues inspired by the desert sands. I've been collecting and reorganizing my wardrobe to become more simplistic, when it comes to the colours. While using basics and similar colours it's become a lot easier to incorporate layering into my daily looks. I recently got a new pair of joggers and this classic buttoned tee shirt from Bluenotes. I have the same joggers in three different colours now because they are the really comfortable and the fit is ideal. I've recently redefined my personal style and I'm really excited to share the process with you on here. I'm really excited that the weather is slowly getting warmer and the days getting noticeably longer. They say that hope blooms in Spring. Active x Bluenotes

It's the perfect time of year to cut any bad habits out of our lives and replace them with positive goals to accomplish. I like to train myself to have productive hobbies and good habits that bring out the best in me.  It's hard to get out there in the Winter and have an active lifestyle; but now that Spring is around the corner we can look forward to getting more physical. I've really been into a greyish and neutral colour palette this month while also wearing comfortable and classic looking outfits. It's nice to dress for comfort as well as function, especially on cold and busy days. This entire outfit is from Bluenotes including the sweater which is part of their latest Active x Bluenotes collection.  Which ever holiday or occasion you've got coming up, they've got you covered. It's time to get into shape because Summer is going to arrive before you know it -and we all want to be ready for the beach. Sleighin' it

This year has been a pretty amazing Christmas so far. I've had a lot of free time to hangout with friends, and see my family more often than I usually do. One of the things I enjoyed doing the most this time of year is going out on many outdoor adventures in the snow. I was strolling through Riverside Park a few days ago when we found this giant sleigh which I thought would be the perfect place to take some more holiday photos. The sweaters are from the Crazy Christmas Sweater Collection over at Bluenotes. I really like the style of the sweater that I'm wearing because it has a cute hood. Bluenotes x Christmas Market with the gang

Last week a group of friends and I took a trip to the Toronto Christmas Market in the Distillery District. The night before I wished for snow, and then a blizzard arrives. It did feel as if we were inside of a snow globe. Even though it was pretty cold we were having fun running around looking at all the cool holiday set ups. It's really a cool place and I really recommend checking it out if you are in the Toronto area and want to get into the holiday spirit. It was actually my first year checking out the holiday market and I'm really glad I was able to explore the most of it. We wanted to take some fun winter pics before all the Christmas hype was over. All of the outfits in these photos are styled with some of the newest holiday arrivals from Bluenotes including my friends. I'm wearing the heavy weight cardigan in the colour cream, from their party section paired with my favourite modern slim levi's jeans also available at Bluenotes. I also can't wait to get my hands on a pair of the levi's twill pants in the colour olive. They have the most perfect fit and to have them in my favourite colour would be even more amazing. I found this knitted scarf and apparently it was the last one in the store and so of course it had to be mine. I love how it creates a classic winter look just by adding one simple accessory. Into the fog/ Levi's x Bluenotes

Hey guys! I'm back with another post! So soon right? I'm probably going to be posting a lot more holiday content because I've been really inspired lately. It's been one crazy year and I haven't had as much free time to blog but I've been trying to make more of an effort to share my life with you. It's not often I catch the fog but it was at the perfect timing when my family and I were driving into the country. I couldn't pass it up such an amazing opportunity to take pictures with such a beautiful view! -and it was even more magical when I spotted a field of birds to interrupt :p Today's blog post is to share the big news that you can now buy Levi's jeans at Bluenotes!!! The pair that I'm wearing is the 511 modern slim fit in the rinse wash. They are a classic pair of jeans with the most perfect fit so if you need a new pair of jeans for the new year check them out! Winter Warmth ft. Bluenotes Holiday Favourites

Now that it's December I suppose it's a little more appropriate for me to be posting Christmas content even though I've secretly been in the holiday spirit since three weeks ago. I'm not normally one that wears a lot of red but during this time of year I try to make a bit of a shift in my seasonal colour palette. Even if it's just a little bit of red to pop out underneath a cardigan -it's creating a very festive vibe! I've been looking everywhere for the perfect flannel and I got mine over at Bluenotes along with the rest of my outfit. This parka has become quite the outfit life saver, as it can  be casually thrown on overtop of any outfit without ruining a look. We've all been there when we've spent a time to coordinate an outfit that we are really proud of, and then have to cover it all up with a winter coat. It's also been quite the struggle dressing up when the weather has been quite unpredictable. Being one of my favourite and modest greens, this makes it even easier to combine with the rest of my wardrobe. It definitely becomes a staple piece on my rack.   Excited to be back in the my favourite season when it comes to fashion. I've been enjoying the return of some of my favourite colours while having to layer up. I got together is my friend Kyle to do some fun early fall photos! You can get my entire outfit over at Bluenotes as well as the jacket that my friend is wearing. I've also been wearing this rose tee way too much.
