Beach Loungin' with Bather

During my vacation to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico I was on the hunt for some new swimwear to feature. I came across Bather, a Men's Surf & Swimwear company which fit naturally with my personal style.

While learning Bather is manufactured and designed in Toronto, Canada, I liked the idea of supporting local and economic talent. Styled perfectly for the chillin' at the beach as well as wandering the sunny soaked streets, my Bather shorts quickly became my favourite thing to wear on my vacation.

My favourite challenge about vacation fashion is finding a way to style swimwear with an everyday outfit when exploring the city.

If you want to shop these looks I'm wearing the multi coral swim trunk, and solid back swim trunk.

Check out @bathertrucks on instagram for more awesome beach lifestyle inspiration.

Taco Dirty To Me

taco6It's been a while since I've posted! (I'm sorry!) I haven't been home much or had time for anything! Last weekend I went to Montreal for five days, and then was at Anime North, so I do have many photos to share with you coming up soon! These ones I actually took during my trip to Mexico City. Actually it was one of my favourite shoots photographed by my good friend Henry Evia. Thanks to his mom for making me this special chicken quesadilla. I got this shirt at American Eagle a while back in the clearance section and I thought it was ideally the perfect shirt to bring to Mexico. Haha, I actually look down now and I notice that I'm wearing this shirt now. I also can't get enough of my Woodzee sunglasses. I'm really much impressed with the quality, and find myself wearing them many times because surprisingly they go with everything. That's about it for today! Thanks for stopping by! -Bobby

Catch & Release

It was pretty much the hottest day yet. Sun soo bright I could hardly open my eyes. Take one deep breath and a good look around to remember... This was the last I had taken photos in Cancún before I left. As you may notice I look a little sad because I really didn't want to go home. And when I travel back home I like to wear the same outfit I arrived in to remember a great time, and to leave in the same conditions. But there was one difference. And before I left a friend had given me this necklace; it looks like a tribal mask or a fish depending which way you interpret it. To me it symbolises a fish I caught but had to let go. Sometimes you meet someone pretty awesome people when traveling, and for me I find it hard to say goodbye, because I get a feeling of uncertainty when you'll meet again. Which is why I call this look catch and release. Sometimes life brings you wonderful surprises when you lease expect it.

Tropical Tourist

While being at the beach I thought it would be the perfect time to show off one of summer's hottest trends for men. That's right, the bright and tropical printed dress shirt. These shirts are easily spotted in a local thrift store, for an affordable price, but beware of it's oversized and awkward fit. You may also find this shirt with more of a proper fit in stores such as Topman H&M and Zara but for a costly price (but usually the perfectly paradise print makes up for it). This trendy item can be paired up with a simple graphic tee and jeans as seen worn in this look. I got this graphic tee from an online store called Universalpixel. Hope you guys like todays tropical inspired outfit! Till next time! With love from you friend Bobby!

Sea of Jellyfish

Walking along the beach there was a sign that said "beware of the jellyfish". It would have been nice to have taken pictures of them, but luckily I found some at the an aquarium. I didn't really include many pictures of my outfit because I wasn't wearing anything that special and besides, I was more amused by taking pictures at the aquarium. Even though there was a sign that said "no photos allowed" I still had to share this with you. You probably think I don't like following what signs say, and yeah that could possibly be right. ;)

Chichen Itza Part ll

A continuation of Chichen Itza, which I had posted earlier today. Deeper in the area is the Temple of the Warriors, where most of these photos were taken. Before leaving to Mexico I thought to treat myself and buy one special thing, which is this detailed aztec print dress shirt I got form Zara. I love the muted colours which I could wear on any casual day, and the detailed print is very much my style. Hope you enjoyed todays post, more adventures coming soon! Sincerely, Bobby
