Pokemon Go Street Patrol: Officer Jenny

It’s been a bit of a tradition creating a Pokemon related costume each year and so it was on my mind to keep it going. This costume came together last minute when I had gotten this really cool t-shirt from an online shop called Shelfies. I thought that somehow that I could incorporate this shirt into a Pokemon related costume easily. With the Pokemon Go loading screen I came up with the idea of promoting safety while becoming Officer Jenny. I had found this hat hoarding around the basement, which I never really used for previous costumes and so it was cool to finally get a wear of it. I had some white gloves also in a costume bin and the rest of my outfit came together with from my regular wardrobe. Hope everyone had a fun Halloween! Till next time! -Bobby

The Bug Catcher!

metapod7Hey guys! I know Halloween's been long over but I promised I'd post the rest of my bug catcher costume, I just haven't had much time because I've been working full time and after creating six different Halloween costumes and photo shoots I didn't want anything to do with it! Hah Well just in case you wanted to see some more funny photos here they are below! I had a lot of fun taking these photos with my friend Monica with all the crazy expressions! After spending nearly a week making this metapod I've been so urging to play the new Pokemon game so maybe I'll buy it when it gets too cold to leave my house. More text below on the costume details. Thanks again for checking out my blog. With love, Bobby

VAPOREON

vaporeon1
It was a pretty last minute and random idea to make a Vaporeon costume from Pokemon. One night I was finishing making the bird mask for my previous costume and then I got a little too carried away. I made a collar piece out of cardboard paper and then painting it blue and white with some glitter. Lastly I just used some of my regular day clothing to complete the look. Luckily I had a turquoise blazer and some mermaid like pants! That's about it! I painted some poke balls out of styrofoam balls that I found at the dollarstore and then brought them along. They are also a going to be a part of my official Halloween costume which I will be sharing with you guys shortly! I hope you like it! Stay tuned and Happy Halloween!!!

Neon at Anime North / Giveaway Winner

What I'm Wearing

Psychedelic Neon Tiger Sweater: Mr. Gugu & Miss Go
Pink Neon Highlite Sneaker: Jeffrey Campbell
Colour Block Backpack: Romwe
Holographic Merman Jeans: H&M
Melting Rad Necklace: Mikey Anderson (Etsy)
Yin Yang Necklace: Mabel Marlene Designs (Etsy)
Forever Alone Pin: Anime North
Tamagotchi Pin: Anime North

This weekend in Toronto was Anime North. I've been trying to find the perfect occasion to wear my new psychedelic neon tiger sweater. I also just got these new Jeffrey Campbell neon highlight platforms that match perfectly with this outfit. The best part about them is that they light up at night with the click of a button. Speaking of buttons I ended up buying a few in the dealers room. You can actually see them in the photo below along with some of my favourite accessoires. I just got a new melting 'rad' and Yin Yang necklace from Etsy. You probably didn't notice but I finally changed my stud earrings to my new dolphin earrings. I also spontaneously decided to brighten my hair with neon green hair dye that I got at Hot Topic when I was in California. It's semi-permanent so it actually going to wash out in a few days. I'm thinking of re-dying my hair again soon but I'm unsure of which colour. It's going to either be blue or orange, what do you think?
