See By Chloé Event

Yesterday morning I got to attend the See By Chloé Event in Toronto.

It was a pleasant surprise to see my favourite local bloggers Julia Monson, and Natalie Ast too. It was  quite interesting to learn about the fragrance, and to see all aspects on how the campaign was magically put together. The fragrance has an addictive floral scent with tangy essences and apple blossom while ending with a base notes of sandalwood and vanilla. The bottle was designed with a bird cage like appearance to give off a nostalgic and youthful presence. A perfect fragrance for your girlfriend, and in my case a perfect gift for my sister who now has a mad collection of perfumes. Marc Jacobs Fragrance Event in Toronto

The Marc Jacobs Dot Fragrance Launch Party. 

This event had to be one of the best fashion events I've attended to. I was very impressed with everything from the decorations to the food. I arrived with my fashion blogger friends Julia Monson, Dani Roche, Gary Levy, Bianca Venerayan and my good friend Menaka Iyer who came dressed head to toe in polka dots. I don't know if you noticed but she's new to lookbook so be sure to hype her along with the fashion bloggers! Over all, it was really high class event and we all had a great time! We all got featured in the Globe and Mail which also came in print the next day! Before leaving we were given a gift bag with a Marc Jacobs tote bag and a bottle of the fragrance! I was just amazed by the entire day while having a permanent smile on my face. I hope to attend another event like this soon! Enjoy the photos below!

The food was indescribable! So fancy, I didn't know half of the stuff I was eating Pink macaroons with dots and Marc Jacobs branded brownie cookies for desert!

Menaka had to get her nails done once again, just like at the Gap event last week. 

It was amazing to run into my favourite instructor Charmaine Gooden from me and Gary's cosmetic marketing course at college! That may have made out night!

 We were told dress inspired by polka dots, and knowing me I didn't own one thing that had polka dots! So early in the morning (if you follow me on instagram or twitter) you would've have seen my failed attempted trying to pick out something to wear to the event. With the help of you guys I decided to go with the polka dotted scarf that was only 1.99! Coincidentally it matched perfectly with my friend Gary's Marc Jacobs polka dot tie!

Gap x Lookbook Event in Toronto!

Thursday was the Gap styled by lookbook.nu party in Toronto. It was amazing to see all the local bloggers get together for one event. I finally got a chance to meet up with Zoe Badly, Kristy Petra, and Julia Monson. I was also really happy to see the lovely Dani Roche, she is so sweet! We all got to select an outfit from Gap to wear to the event which was awesome! First time in a while I was feeling the colour yellow to reflect my personality. I wanted my outfit to be cheerful, energetic youthful and chic. I finally got a pair of dress paints which I can wear to my job interview next week! My favourite part about the outfit was that I matched the sweater with a pair of striped socks. I thought to incorporate a little bit of my own style with the Vanessa Mooney silver necktie and a classy Beil watch. I don't have that many nice pairs of dress shoes, so I just wore the usual. I finally had an outfit that matched my little navy blue bag I got from Zara. It was perfect because I was only bringing my wallet and and my chapstick. Well below are the pictures at the event! I was sooo excited to meet all the lookbookers that I wanted to take pictures of all of them! Be sure to hype them if you like them!

The drinks were so delightful! I maybe had a little bit too much!

At the end of the night a group of us went to a Korean Kareoke bar for the first time in my life. It was pretty awesome!
