Today was a pretty awesome day. It was more spontaneous than most. I got to hangout with my good friend Rachelle. She wanted longboard so I brought my skateboard and off we went downtown. We took a few pictures before the sun went down then we went for an appetizer and some drinks at the Cornerstone. There was also some live music which is always really nice. After that we just hung around downtown until it got dark.
I didn't really get any close up pictures to show the detail of my jewelry. I recently got this Eye Bracelet from Romwe. The rest of the bracelets on the left side (regarding the eyes) are from Vanessa Mooney. One of my favourite areas in Toronto is Kensington Market. I haven't really found the time to take a visit down there this summer, so I was excited to finally spend a day with my best friend Gary Levy. I went to the dollar store and just couldn't resist when I spotted theses ice cream shaped bubble necklaces! I ended getting two for one, so I decided to keep the vanilla one for myself, and give the other to my chocolate friend ;)We had a really good time flooding the streets with bubbles; even in stores and on the subway. My favourite part was the confusing look on people's faces when they didn't know where the bubbles were coming from. And the odd time a bubble would attack and aim for an eye. Homeless people enjoyed watching the bubbles more then most. A bubble can even turn someones frown upside down. Who would've known that bubbles would be so much fun?

I finally met up with the local fashion bloggers Bianca Venerayan and Dani Roche where we spent the day at a cute and yummy dessert filled cafe that coincidentally matched both of their hair and not intentionally! Later that day we went to Bellwood Trinity park to chill, chat and take pictures. I just got this new oversized denim and aztec patchwork vest from Romwe, which I is perfectly my style! Though it's such a staple piece on it's own, I find myself adding more to it, making it one big eclectic mess. Adore Dani's cotton candy inspired use of colours. Lovin' her cheetah heeled Docs and most of all my favourite part about her outfit that eyeball ring! She told me she got from topman. I want it soo bad, I think I might have to get one myself!~
Another summer day just chill'n with my friend Kyia. She lives a few streets behind me, so we walked to the plaza to get some pizza for lunch. It was so hot that we decided to get some popsicles which actually melted pretty fast! I had my camera in my backpack so we thought to take some photos for about 5 minutes. A while back I randomly won a gift card from American Apparel just by tweeting them back, so I finally ended up using it! I picked out this bright turquoise v-neck and striped short sleeve dress shirt to match. This outfit is perfect for riding bikes, which I find myself doing regularly when visiting home. Funny thing, our outfits match a photo we took last year while riding bikes. Some other news, I'm actually going away to Cancun, Mexico for family vacations, and I leave tomorrow! I've been so busy with other things I didn't really have time to pack yet, so that's what I'll be doing today!
