M.I.A MADNESS / WMCFW Part 1

I've been gone for about a week and I do apologize for disappearing from the internet -reason being I haven't been home for many many days. I was visiting my sister as well as some friends in the city without having access to the internet like the usual times. I thought it may also be good to take a small break as last week I was literally glued to the computer. Walking around downtown and having a fresh breath of air was something I really needed. None the less, it was also fashion week and I couldn't miss being a part of my city's fashion week. My friend Lisa from 'Just Another Fashion Magazine' was surprisingly in town at the most perfect time. I also got to meet up with Bianca and Dani from Kastor & Pollux who were once again perfectly cross coordinated. It seemed like we all had one thing in common -beige jackets. Below are some photos throughout the day! Hope you enjoy!

What I'm Wearing
Harness: Choies, Beanie: Be Inhabited, Jacket: River Island, Rivet Tote: Chicnova, Combat Boots: Romwe, Jeans: H&M Graphic tee: Puma
Another fashion week wouldn't be the same without bumping into the magnificent Mel Hwang.

I really enjoyed the  Fall/Winter 2013 collection of SOIA & KYO.
This outerwear collection was inspired by fluidity and texture while utilizing a rich colour palette of rust and wine complemented by khaki and navy. I've included some of my favourite pieces of the collection, mainly focusing on the men's side. I was quite tempted to grab a jacket off the runway, perhaps because it was so cold outside.

I was looking quite impressed by Rudsak's Fall/Winter 2013 collection while seeing a large variety of styles of jackets ranging from different textures and materials while incorporating their signature luxurious leathers. Rudsak’s collection draws influence from the new age era of pop culture while remaining faithful to the brand’s rugged DNA, in this showcase of an array of outerwear, pret-a-porter clothing, footwear, handbags and accessories. There was way too many outfits that I had to include for men and women. I really like how each jacket is complimented with a unique bag to complete the outfit.

This photo shoot was created and inspired by my favourite fragrance Hypnotic Poison by Dior. The reason why I like this fragrance so much is because it has a unique vanilla scent with a sweet twist which makes it joyful for any occasion. I find myself using it mostly during the nightlife, or when I'm going out with my friends. I think it really goes with my personality because it's very inviting and even though it's a women's fragrance I find it quite unisex. It's funny because when my friends come over they always ask for a spray. It's available for purchase at FragranceNet.com I wanted to create a dark fantasy like photo shoot similar to the film Snow White and the Huntsman. While having lots of snow in the country side of Guelph, I thought I would be the perfect day to shoot this before it all melts away. Photo Credit goes to Steph Person. Hope you like the photos! Thanks for stopping by! I would love to hear what your thoughts! -Bobby

Gold + Silver

Hey guys! Today's look is inspired by my latest gold and silver accessories that I got from Chicnova. They had some pretty radical rings, that I pretty much ended up getting a handful of them. My golden ring collection includes: Bird Skull Ring, Golden Skull, Black Pyramid, and my silver ring collection includes: the Evil eye, and double pointed triangle ring. I also ended up getting this really cool bicycle chain bracelet which I thought was really cool and different. I had to get because ya'll know how much I love biking. So I had scrambled around looking for something to go with my new rings when I remembered I had these really crazy gold pants that I got from BangOn! My beanie with golden detail is from the Versace for H&M collection as well as my buckled shoes. That's about it for today! Hope you like my latest look!! More photos will be coming soon as I am in New York for Fashion Week! So you'll have to stay tuned! Much love!-Bobby

PUNK'N PATCH

This weekend was pretty eventful. I had a weekend long yard sale that finally cleared a path in my "hoarders buried alive" like garage. It was also Thanksgiving (here in Canada) so it was nice to be in touch with both sides of my family. I was lucky enough to have two Thanksgiving dinners that kept me full for the weekend. And my favourite thing about the season is having pumpkin pie for dessert! Speaking of pumpkins, here are some pictures that I took at the pumpkin patch yesterday. and so I thought the phrase "punk'n patch" was pretty fitting for the outfit and location, don't you think?
