I've been gone for about a week and I do apologize for disappearing from the internet -reason being I haven't been home for many many days. I was visiting my sister as well as some friends in the city without having access to the internet like the usual times. I thought it may also be good to take a small break as last week I was literally glued to the computer. Walking around downtown and having a fresh breath of air was something I really needed. None the less, it was also fashion week and I couldn't miss being a part of my city's fashion week. My friend Lisa from 'Just Another Fashion Magazine' was surprisingly in town at the most perfect time. I also got to meet up with Bianca and Dani from Kastor & Pollux who were once again perfectly cross coordinated. It seemed like we all had one thing in common -beige jackets. Below are some photos throughout the day! Hope you enjoy!

Another fashion week wouldn't be the same without bumping into the magnificent Mel Hwang.
I really enjoyed the Fall/Winter 2013 collection of SOIA & KYO.
This outerwear collection was inspired by fluidity and texture while utilizing a rich colour palette of rust and wine complemented by khaki and navy. I've included some of my favourite pieces of the collection, mainly focusing on the men's side. I was quite tempted to grab a jacket off the runway, perhaps because it was so cold outside.
I was looking quite impressed by Rudsak's Fall/Winter 2013 collection while seeing a large variety of styles of jackets ranging from different textures and materials while incorporating their signature luxurious leathers. Rudsak’s collection draws influence from the new age era of pop culture while remaining faithful to the brand’s rugged DNA, in this showcase of an array of outerwear, pret-a-porter clothing, footwear, handbags and accessories. There was way too many outfits that I had to include for men and women. I really like how each jacket is complimented with a unique bag to complete the outfit.
